Giorgio Chiellini made his first public appearance as a Juventus executive, attending the traditional UEFA lunch hours before the Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven. The former Juventus captain and defender, who recently rejoined the club in a management role, represented the Italian giants alongside executive Francesco Calvo at the “Del Cambio” restaurant in Turin’s Piazza Carignano.
Chiellini, who assumed the position of Head of Football Institutional Relations just yesterday, is working closely with CEO Maurizio Scanavino and President Gianluca Ferrero. His new role involves representing the club in relations with national and international football institutions.
Juventus officially announced Chiellini’s appointment, stating that his academic background and legendary status as a player and captain make him ideally suited for this position. The club emphasized that Chiellini will report directly to CEO Scanavino as he begins his managerial journey.
This lunch meeting with PSV officials marks Chiellini’s first official duty in his new capacity, signaling the beginning of a new chapter in his long-standing relationship with Juventus.
