Davide Nicola signs new Salernitana contract

Salernitana have confirmed that coach Davide Nicola has agreed a new two-year contract with the club. There were doubts over his future at the club following the departure of sporting director Walter Sabatini who reportedly left after a falling out with club President Danilo Iervolino.

The club have now confirmed that Nicola has agreed a new two year deal via a statement on the clubs official website:

U.S. Salernitana 1919 is pleased to communicate that Mr. Davide Nicola and his staff composed of Manuele Cacicia, Simone Barone, Federico Barni and Gabriele Stoppino have renewed a two-year contract.

The club expresses full satisfaction for the choice to continue with Mr. Nicola and his staff following the path successfully undertaken last season and wishes everyone a good luck.”
