Roma are set to sign Paulo Dybala on a free transfer this summer, with the Argentine having agreed a €6m a season deal. La Joya left Juventus last month and was widely touted to be Inter’s next signing, but a move failed to materialise.
Sky Sports, Gianluca Di Marzio, Fabrizio Romano and a number of others now report that a deal is done between Dybala and the Giallorossi.
He’s expected to earn a base salary of €4.5m and up to a further €1.5m in add-ons and performance related bonuses.
Di Marzio reports that Dybala has already boarded a private jet with Roma owners the Friedkins and club sporting director Tiago Pinto, bound for Portugal.
Coach Jose Mourinho pushed for the signing and wants the Argentine to join the team at their pre-season training camp in the Algarve immediately.
