Fiorentina are exploring the possibility of signing Jens Cajuste from Napoli, just one year after he arrived in Naples. The French midfielder is set to leave Napoli after failing to secure a spot in the starting XI, and Fiorentina are keen on securing his services. However, the primary target for the Viola midfield remains Sandi Lovric from Udinese.
Sky Sport Italia’s transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Fiorentina are currently negotiating with Napoli over the terms of Cajuste’s transfer. While Napoli prefers a permanent transfer, Fiorentina are looking for a loan deal with an option to buy. Both clubs are working towards reaching an agreement.
Last season, Cajuste made 26 appearances and provided 2 assists for Napoli in Serie A. Napoli is also working on other potential departures, including Gaetano, who is being pursued by Cagliari for a permanent transfer. If Napoli manages to sell both Cajuste and Gianluca Gaetano, they plan to finalize a deal for Marco Brescianini and continue their pursuit of Billy Gilmour.
