Fiorentina right-back Dodo is expected to be out for at least six months following their win over Udinese last weekend. The 24-year-old was forced to come off after just six minute after suffering what looked a serious knee injury.
Fiorentina have now confirmed that the Brazilian international has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture. The player is now expected to undergo surgery and could be out for at least six months.
La Viola are expected to look for a replacement in the January transfer window.
