Fiorentina director Joe Barone confirmed that Luka Jovic will remain with the club while there are ‘no offers’ for Sofyan Amrabat. La Viola are also being linked with a move for Galatasaray forward Nicolo Zaniolo, and speaking while leaving the Lega Serie A Assembly, Barrone confirmed that the club are unlikely to sign the young talent this summer:
“For Amrabat no offers have arrived, at the moment he stays here. Jovic? I don’t see why he shouldn’t stay. We wanted him and brought him here, he had a great championship, we are super happy to have him in Fiorentina. If something comes naturally we will evaluate it.”
“Milenkovic? no offers have arrived, for us he is an important player.”
“Livakovic? We are not negotiating, Zaniolo is a player who plays for Galatasaray. Then I heard that Juventus also likes him so….”
“Castrovilli? We are negotiating, but the distance is very wide. Let’s see what will happen.”
