Gosens and Correa set to return next month

Robin Gosens will be in the Inter squad to face Genoa while Joaquin Correa will return for the Milan Derby. Both players have been out for all of February, a particularly tough month for the Nerazzurri, but will return soon.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that there has been an ‘acceleration’ in Gosens’ workload and he is recovering well. The German international should be in the squad for Inter’s match against Genoa, but he is unlikely to feature.

With that in mind, Gazzetta suggest Gosens is more likely to make his debut in the Coppa Italia semi-final against Milan on March 1.

Alongside, Joaquin Correa, an absentee since January 19, is also targeting the Coppa Italia match for his return.

Inter’s have suffered league defeats to Milan and Sassuolo in February and Liverpool in the Champions League.
