Inter striker Lukaku set to return to training next week

After quite a lengthy period of absence so far this season, the Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is set to return to training with the Nerazzurri as of next week.

Since suffering a thigh strain during the Beneamata’s trip to the Stadio Olimpico to face Lazio, where they suffered shocking 3-1 defeat, the Belgian international has missed a total of six games across all competitions for Inter.

According to reports from SportMediaset, the 29 year-old marksman is close to completing his recovery process and is set to return to training with the squad during the international break ahead of Inter’s significant game against Roma.

With only one goal and one assist tallied within his first three games within the Serie A upon his return after departing Chelsea, the clinical goal-scorer hopes to reach the heights that he has attained under Conte in order to help his squad overcome this difficult period that they are currently faced with.
