Juventus are in talks with Inter winger Ivan Perisic over a free transfer this summer but they face opposition from Chelsea. The 33-year-old has been one of the Nerazzuri’s best players this season, playing as a wing-back in coach Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juve are looking to make a tactical shift by switching to a 4-3-3 to better provide options for striker Dusan Vlahovic. The move will require new wingers and has seen the club linked with Angel Di Maria and now Perisic.
According to the report, Perisic’s salary is lower than that of Paulo Dybala, who is set to leave the club next month. Juve are expected to offer the Croatian around €6 million a season on a two-year contract, including an option for a third.
Premier League club Chelsea are also reportedly interested in Perisic but they are yet to make a formal offer to the winger.
