Roma’s head coach Ivan Juric expressed his feelings following the 1-1 draw against Union Saint-Gilloise in the Europa League, highlighting both the positives and negatives of the match. “There were moments of both good and bad, where we played with little intensity. Today, we cannot be satisfied with our performance,” he stated.
Juric acknowledged that the team has been making several individual errors that have cost them dearly, suggesting it might be a mental issue. “It’s disappointing because the players are giving their all, but we can’t seem to secure results. We are not tough enough to win matches even when we are not at our best,” he said.
Reflecting on the atmosphere surrounding the team, Juric noted, “There is a lot of negativity around us, and rightly so, because results are not coming. During this time, I have focused solely on training; I have let everything else slide. I always aim to do my best because there are aspects I cannot influence. I don’t want to get involved in other discussions.”
