Juventus and Atalanta Vie for Hellas Verona’s Tomas Suslov

Tomas Suslov, the 22-year-old Slovakian international midfielder from Hellas Verona, has become the subject of interest for both Juventus and Atalanta. The talented player, who joined Serie A from FC Groningen last summer, is reportedly seeking Champions League football for the upcoming season.

According to L’Arena (via tuttomercatoweb), Suslov’s impressive debut season in Italy has caught the attention of several top clubs. In his 32 appearances for Hellas Verona, he contributed three goals and five assists, showcasing his potential as a rising star in Italian football.

Hellas Verona are  open to selling Suslov, with a reported asking price between €12-15 million. However, the club’s Sporting Director, Sean Sogliano, has emphasized that there is no rush to part ways with the young midfielder, who is under contract until 2027.

The player is currently on a break following his participation in Euro 2024 with Slovakia. As the summer transfer window progresses, it remains to be seen whether Juventus or Atalanta will make a decisive move for Suslov, or if other clubs will join the race for his signature.
