Juventus make first offer for Zaniolo

Juventus have met with the agent of Roma winger Nicolo Zaniolo and made their first offer for the youngster. The 23-year-old is expected to leave the Giallorossi this summer and the club are open to bids for him, with the Bianconeri expected to be well in the lead.

Sports journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports Juve met in Rome with Zaniolo’s agent Claudio Vigorelli, however Roma are not prepared to drop below a €50m asking price.

For his part, Zaniolo is pushing to go to Juve as it’s his priority move this summer and Vigorelli is expected be in the capital to talk to the player tomorrow before bringing the first bid from Juve to Roma.

The Bianconeri are expected to offer the €50m that Roma want by tabling a very expensive loan bid (€10-12 million) with a redemption obligation.
