Juventus target Gabriel ‘open’ to move

Juventus are targeting Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes and according to reports in England, he is open to the move. The Bianconeri had been focussing their attention on Kalidou Koulibaly who was considered the clubs first choice to replace Giorgio Chiellini.

With the Senegalese now set to join Chelsea, The Independent report that Juve have turned their attention to Brazilian international Gabriel.

The report suggests that a deal could take place, should Juve be prepared to match Arsenal’s asking price for the defender and that relations between the two sides are very good.

It’s also suggested that the 24-year-old and his camp are ‘open to a move to Serie A’s most successful club’ and that Arsenal want to start talks for the defender at around £50m, but a player exchange could be an option, with Adrien Rabiot’s name already mentioned.
