Juventus are expected to announce the contract extension of promising young starlet Kenan Yildiz later today. The 18-year-old has made a rapid progression through the Bianconeri ranks, making the leap from the Primavera right into the Next Gen squad, and now into the first team, featuring twice already this season.
The attacking midfielder began his career with Bayern Munich but opted not to sign his first professional contract with the Bavarians, choosing instead to join Juve in 2022.
Sky Sport Italia, Goal Italia and numerous other report that Yildiz took the opportunity to convince Juve management of his quality in the last few months, and the Bianconeri have decided to act immediately.
According to reports, the contract renewal will be penned at lunchtime today at Juve’s Continassa training centre, with Yildiz expected to renew until 2027. The new deal will see the youngster earn double his previous salary with Juventus while adding two more years to his contract.
