Fiorentina’s new striker Moise Kean recently shared his thoughts on his move to the club and his aspirations for the season in an interview with the Serie A channel.
Regarding his decision to join Fiorentina, Kean explained, “It mainly stemmed from the ambition the coach had for me and also from the club, which over the years has proven to be a serious organization. Many talents have emerged here over the years, and I was absolutely pleased to be part of this project.”
Reflecting on his challenging season at Juventus, Kean admitted, “I didn’t get much playing time, the important thing was to be ready. But even in the moments when I was called upon, I didn’t have much luck. I hope to make up for it this year.”
The young striker fondly recalled his time in Paris, stating, “I’ve always gained a lot of strength from places where I feel trusted. This year we can do well, we have an excellent group. The teammates are special and we can achieve great things.”
When asked about his new teammates, particularly Dodo and Ikone, Kean expressed his satisfaction: “Everything is going well, I’m settling in great. I already knew some of them, Dodo provides me with assists. Ikone is an excellent person, he needs to be understood but he’s a person with a big heart and great talent. I hope to do great things with him here.”
Kean had high praise for his new coach, Palladino: “The coach is an excellent trainer, I like him on a technical level. His idea of the game is very close to how I play. As I’ve already said, coming here was the right choice. He has a good project, and I hope to do well.”
On the possibility of breaking Fiorentina’s trophy drought, Kean was optimistic: “Of course, Florence has always been an ambitious city, like the team. Trophies are won by staying together and believing in it until the end, we must always believe in our goals.”
When asked about his personal objectives for the season, Kean remained focused on the team’s success: “I wouldn’t want to state a number of goals, I think about taking Fiorentina where it deserves to be. My goal is high and I hope to achieve it. This year is very important both for me and for the team.”
