Juventus full-back Luca Pellegrini is set to join Eintracht Frankfurt on loan for the coming season as they look to replace Filip Kostic. The Serbian international arrived in Turin yesterday to undertake his club medical and is expected to be announced as a new signing later today.
23-year-old Pellegrini struggled for playing time in Turin last season and managed just 15 Serie A starts in 2021-22, leaving Alex Sandro as the Bianconeri’s first choice.
Gianluca Di Marzio and a number of others now report that Juventus are expected to send Pellegrini to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan as part of the discussions that led to the signing of Kostic.
Pellegrini arrived in Turin in 2019 from Roma and spent recent seasons on loan at Cagliari and Genoa before making his return to Turin last year.
