Marcelo Brozović out for 3-4 weeks

Inter have been dealt yet another injury blow with midfielder Marcelo Brozovic set to miss upcoming matches. The Croatian international limped off during his side’s match against Austria after just 18 minutes and won’t feature in any further Nations League matches.

La Gazzetta dello Sport and others confirm that Brozovic pulled a thigh muscle and is now expected to miss at least 3-4 weeks of the season.

The absence is expected to include both the Nerazzurri’s Champions League matches against Barcelona and their upcoming Serie A match against Roma.

The news will likely mean that new summer signing Kristjan Asllani will finally get a chance to play in the starting XI.
