Milan make direct contact with Jakub Kiwior’s Agents

While Milan anxiously await a concrete response from Kia Joorabchian regarding the commission fees related to the Joshua Zirkzee deal, the club is also exploring other targets to satisfy new coach Paulo Fonseca’s demands. Geoffrey Moncada, the sporting director, is keen on securing Zirkzee but is also actively pursuing alternative options. Among these is the pursuit of a physically imposing left-footed central defender.

Calciomercato report that Jakub Kiwior, a defender currently on international duty with Poland in Germany, has been on Milan’s radar for some time. The Rossoneri had previously attempted to sign him on loan from Arsenal in January without success, and they have now reignited their interest.

In recent days, Geoffrey Moncada has had fresh contact with Fair Sport, the agency that represents the former Spezia player’s interests.

The contact with Kiwior’s agents aimed to understand Arsenal’s plans for the defender. Kiwior finished the season strongly, earning Mikel Arteta’s trust. As a result, the Gunners do not seem particularly inclined to sell, although Milan remains highly interested and will attempt to convince the London club once the situation regarding their new number 9 is resolved, one way or the other.
