Napoli agree terms with Gerard Deulofeu

Napoli have reached an agreement on personal terms with Udinese winger Gerard Deulofeu for a multi-year contract. The Partenopei are looking to strengthen the wide areas of the pitch following  Lorenzo Insigne’s departure and the uncertainty of Dries Mertens’ future at the club.

Radio Kiss Kiss Naples, Transfer journalists Alfredo Pedulla, Nicolo Schira and a number of others confirm that Napoli have reached terms with the Spanish winger, and are now set to negotiate a move with Udinese.

Deulofeu was one of the bright sparks for I Zebrette last season, scoring 3 goals and providing five assists across the 2021-22 season.

According to the reports, Deulofeu is very keen on the idea of playing for Napoli in the next campaign and has reached terms on a €2 million net per season contract.

Napoli have reportedly offered Udinese €13m but the Fruliani are holding out for closer to €15-16m.
