Roma midfielder Nemanja Matic is on the verge of completing a move to Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais with just the final details to be resolved. The Serbian international arrived in Rome last summer and featured prominently for the Giallrossi, ending the campaign with 50 appearances across all competitions and two goals.
The reports all suggest that a fee as low as €3m has been accepted for the 35-year-old veteran, with just small details to be finalised before the move is announced.
Roma are expected to make a bid for PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes as the replacement for Matic, as the Argentine has been told he can leave the Parisians this summer.
It would be a return to the capital club for Paredes, who is also being tracked by Turkish side Galatasaray, however the player is reportedly set on a return to Italy to feature for his former side.
