AC Milan and Juventus are reportedly preparing a move for Goncalo Ramos in January 2026, as the Portuguese star’s agent represents multiple players in Serie A.

Goncalo Ramos Represented By ‘Super Agent’

The Paris Saint-Germain star has been in the headlines during the international break, as Ramos led the line for Portugal in a 9-1 win over Armenia following Cristiano Ronaldo’s red card against Ireland.

Portuguese supporters have been calling for the 24-year-old to be the starting talisman over Ronaldo and the two also have something in common when it comes to agents.

Goncalo Ramos is represented by the Gestifute, which is spear-headed by soccer’s super agent Jorge Mendes who acted as Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent for around 20 years before ending their relationship in 2022.

Mendes has acted as Ramos’ agent since 2023 and played a huge role in the striker’s move to PSG – joining the French side on loan in August 2023 before completing a permanent deal in the following January window.

Since joining the Ligue 1 side, Ramos has failed to cement his place as the leading striker under Luis Enrique, playing a secondary role to the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele.

Ramos has started just six matches in Ligue 1 this season and is yet to earn a place in the first eleven in the Champions League after Dembele’s recent return from injury.

The 24-year-old’s performances have also failed to meet expectations, scoring just 38 goals in 102 appearances for PSG and the Portuguese star could part ways with the French side in 2026.

Jorge Mendes could play a huge role in completing a move to Serie A as the well-renowned agent has multiple clients in Italy’s top-flight.

Jorge Mendes Notorious In Serie A

The Portuguese agent represents a host of players across Europe, as the Gestifute brand currently has 158 players to its name and 79 of these are in the ‘first tier’.

Mendes has multiple clients in Italy, with the Portuguese agent representing AC Milan star Pervis Estupinan Rafael and Juventus forward, Francisco Conceicao.

The 59-year-old was also the lead agent for Rafael Leao before mid-2025, as the two decided to end their business relationship which began in November 2019.

Mendes’ links to AC Milan are also extended by his relationship with former Rossoneri midfielder Gennaro Gattuso, as the Italian is one of 13 managers that are represented by Gestifute.

Gattuso is currently facing a lot of criticism during his spell as Azzurri boss and his position could be under pressure as reports are suggesting that Italy are looking for a new manager.

However, the Italian is still adored by AC Milan supporters and his relationship with Mendes suggests that there is a strong connection with the Rossoneri – despite parting ways with Rafael Leao.

Mendes also represents Francisco Conceicao who is currently enjoying a strong spell with Juventus and the Portuguese winger also has a strong relationship with Goncalo Ramos from their time together with the national team.

Goncalo Ramos To Solve AC Milan Striker Issues

Mendes’ links with the Rossoneri could play a pivotal role in Goncalo Ramos’ future, as AC Milan are reportedly searching for a new center-forward in January.

Massimiliano Allegri has utilized a variety of options in the attacking area of the field and has found the most success with Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao – as Santiago Gimenez continues to struggle in Milan.

The 24-year-old has failed to score a single goal in Serie A this season, but several European sides are still keen on signing the Mexican in January.

If the Rossoneri allow Gimenez to leave next year, there will be a desperate need to find a suitable replacement and Goncalo Ramos could be the ideal target.

The Portuguese star has struggled for minutes in Paris this season, meaning Ramos may be looking to secure regular playing-time ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Juventus Target Goncalo Ramos As Dusan Vlahovic Replacement

AC Milan are not the only side that could be directing their attention to Goncalo Ramos in 2026, as Juventus will be seeking some reinforcements to climb back into the Champions League places.

The Bianconeri have endured a whirlwind start to the 2025/26 campaign, as Igor Tudor was relieved of his duties following a run of eight-matches without a win and the Romanian was replaced by Luciano Spalletti.

One factor that will also need to be addressed is the situation surrounding Dusan Vlahovic, as the Serbian is out of contract in June 2026 and can enter pre-contract negotiations in January.

The former Fiorentina star has been linked with a move away from Turin for multiple years now and is unlikely to be offered a new deal after scoring just two league goals this season.

Juve added Jonathan David and Lois Openda to their ranks during the 2025 summer window, but neither has managed to make a notable impact on the team so far.

Ramos still has three-years remaining on his current deal, however, the Portuguese star may be available on a temporary deal before signing permanently next summer.
