Daniel Maldini’s return to Monza from AC Milan has been officially confirmed. After being part of Milan’s tour in the United States, the move back to Italy was necessary for the contract signing and registration. The official announcement came through the Serie A’s transfer section, confirming that Maldini has permanently left the Rossoneri to join Monza.
Contract Details
Maldini, having reached a verbal agreement with Monza, signed a two-year contract valid until June 30, 2026, with an option for automatic renewal for an additional year. Maldini is familiar with Monza, having played there in the latter part of the previous season. The agreement was facilitated by Milan, who held Maldini’s contract until 2025.
In recent days, discussions between Monza’s CEO Adriano Galliani and Milan resulted in a definitive agreement. Monza will pay a low compensation fee, while Milan retains a significant percentage (50%) of any future resale of the player.
