Donnarumma: A big save from a Sucic effort in the early exchanges. Produced a fantastic penalty stop, but could do little on the opening goal.  7.0/10

Bastoni: Excellent at the back, had a perfect chance to put Italy ahead that he might have done better with. 6.5/10

Calafiori: A very measured performance, an excellent series of displays for the Azzurri, capped off by an exceptional assist. 7/10

Darmian: A quiet first half, had to do better on the Croatia opener. 5.0/10

Dimarco: An average opening half, really lacking at both ends. 5.5/10

Di Lorenzo: Got into the right positions, but his delivery lacked in the final third. 5.5/10

Jorginho: Solid without doing anything spectacular. 5.5/10

Barella: Excellent on the ball, created a great chance for Bastoni in the first half.  6.0/10

Pellegrini: Good runs, his passing was mostly on point. 5.5/10

Raspadori: Made some well-timed runs, but he wasn’t able to make a real impact. 5.5/10

Retegui: Had a great chance to put Italy ahead, but his effort went just wide. 6.0/10



Frattesi: Looked a little ropey when he came on, conceded a penalty sooner after coming on. 5.0/10

Chiesa: Offered an immediate threat with his pace and deliveries. 6.0/10

Zaccagni: Incredible 98th minute equaliser, a sublime finish. 7.0/10
