Roma are very close to securing a deal for Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata, securing him on a permanent transfer. The Giallorossi are looking for some cover in the centre-forward position after losing Tammy Abraham until late into the year.
The club have been linked with the likes of Marcos Leonardo and Gianluca Scamacca, but failed to get a move finalised.
Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano now report that Roma are close to completing the transfer of Zapata, who is expected to arrive on a permanent basis.
The Colombian has spent the last five seasons with La Dea, scoring 81 goals in 189 appearances over five seasons.
