Sky: Juventus in talks with Nice for Khéphren Thuram


Sky Sport Italia report that Juventus have set their sights on OGC Nice midfielder Khéphren Thuram this summer. A number of reports from Italy have already mentioned the Bianconeri’s interest in the French international, The Italian club are already close to securing Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa, but they are also keen on adding Thuram to their roster.

Sky now confirm that Juventus are pushing forward with their interest in Thuram, engaging in ongoing discussions with Nice regarding the French midfielder. The Bianconeri are determined to acquire Thuram even if Adrien Rabiot decides to renew his contract with the club. However, should Rabiot choose to leave, Juventus’ pursuit of Thuram will intensify further.

Thuram’s contract with Nice is set to expire in June 2025, and Juventus are planning to secure his services for an estimated fee of €15-18 million. This strategic move aims to bolster the midfield options for Thiago Motta’s squad, ensuring depth and quality in the team’s central area.

Thuram, born in Italy while his father Lilian Thuram was playing for Parma, is a product of the AS Monaco academy. At 23 years old, he has already earned one senior cap for France and is known for his technical skills and versatility on the field.
