Venezia Secures Daniel Fila as Pohjanpalo’s Replacement

Venezia have successfully concluded negotiations for a new striker to replace Joel Pohjanpalo, who has been long destined for a move to Palermo in Serie B. The club’s search for a replacement intensified after Pohjanpalo was notably absent from the squad in their recent 3-2 defeat against Udinese.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the chosen successor is Daniel Fila, a 22-year-old Czech forward currently playing for Slavia Prague. Venezia had previously expressed interest in Fila, but it was their renewed pursuit that proved decisive in securing the deal.
