Victor Osimhen reportedly apologised to coach Rudi Garcia following their touchline spat in the weekend’s draw against Bologna. It was the latest in a series of disappointing results for the Partenopei who have only won one match in their last four, with tensions spilling over on the sidelines.
The Nigerian striker missed the opportunity to put Napoli ahead from the penalty spot, before being subbed off by Garcia, and the two were seen to exchange heated words as Osumhen came off the pitch.
Calciomercato.com report that the striker subsequently apologised to his coach following the match, and that there were no signs of any tension between the two in the training sessions since.
