Juventus working to sign Memphis Depay

Multiple reports from Italian press suggest that Juventus are interested in signing Barcelona forward Memphis Depay. The Dutchman is no longer in the clubs plans and is expected to leave before the close of the transfer window with a number of teams interested in him.

Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti writes that Juve are giving serious thought to signing Depay and there are expected to be talks with the players entourage later today.

TuttoJuve journalist Mirko Di Natale also confirms the news, stating that Barcelona are working to release the player for free and the Bianconeri are seriously interested in acquiring the player.

Depay spent five seasons with Lyon in Ligue 1, scoring 76 goals in 178 appearances, before joining Barcelona last summer.
