Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has reportedly told the club that he wishes to leave this summer, with Barcelona his preferred destination. The Senegalese international has a year left on his existing deal with Napoli and has failed to agree terms over a contract extension.
CalcioNapoli24 report that the 30-year-old has already notified club President Aurelio De Laurentiis and coach Luciano Spalletti of his decision to leave this summer.
According to the report, Koulibaly wants a move to Barcelona and the Blaugrana are expected to make a decision in the coming weeks, based on their budget and other transfers this summer.
Should he fail to agree terms on a Barcelona move, Koulibaly will reportedly still want to leave Napoli this summer, favouring a move away.
