Torino have officially completed the signing of striker Pietro Pellegri from AS Monaco after a year long loan spell. The 21-year-old was initially loaned to Milan on last June before joining Torino in the January transfer window.

A statement on the clubs official website confirmed the move in a deal that is reportedly worth  €5m plus add-ons:

Torino Football Club is pleased to announce that it has acquired the right to sports services of the player Pietro Pellgri from the Association Sportive de Monaco Football Club.

Pellegri was born in Genoa on March 17, 2001. Raised in the ranks of Genoa, with the rossoblù he made his Serie A debut on 22 December 2016, at 15 years and 280 days, against Torino. In the following season, still at Genoa, he became the youngest player to have scored a brace in Serie A

In 2018 the transfer to Monaco, in Ligue 1, a club with which he collected 23 appearances and 2 goals.

In the 2021-2022 championship, finally, the return to Italy where he first wore the Milan shirt and then that of Toro where he found Ivan Juric, the coach who gave him debut in Serie A. With the Granata he collected 9 appearances, scoring a goal in the draw against Lazio in Rome.
