Kyle Walker Sends David Beckham Birthday Wishes As Former Milan Star Turns 50

Start

Milan defender Kyle Walker has sent David Beckham birthday wishes as the former pro soccer star celebrates turning 50.

Walker sent his message through the Rossoneri’s official Instagram account on Friday. The Man City loanee had nothing but favorable words for his compatriot.

Hi David, it’s your birthday, it’s 50 years. That’s why I wanted to wish you a happy birthday! I am at Milan, I wear your number with pride for what you have done for football and for every club you have played for,” Walker said.

The Rossoneri family is very attached to you, your name alone says it all in the world of football. From me and everyone here at Milan, I wish you a happy 50th birthday!”

David Beckham Birthday: Star Turns 50 Years Old

Naturally, Milan were quick to wish David Beckham a happy birthday as the star reaches 50. Beckham enjoyed two loan spells at the San Siro between 2008-2010.

During his time with the Rossoneri, the former Three Lions captain played 33 times across all competitions and scored two goals.

Unsurprisingly, Milan and Kyle Walker were not the only ones to send their best wishes. On X, formerly Twitter, the official England, Serie A, PSG, PFA, Man United and LA Galaxy accounts also followed suit.

At the time of publication, Real Madrid hadn’t posted on X on their English/American account. Beckham played for Los Blancos between 2003-2007 and won a single LaLiga title.

It was back in the mid-90s that Beckham burst onto the scene. He famously starred for Man United and won a plethora of trophies during his time at Old Trafford.

Beckham quickly shot to global fame owing to his superb free-kick and long range of passing. And marrying a Spice Girl helped boosted his profile!

He is still widely regarded as one of the greatest ever soccer players of all-time. Beckham is now the president and co-owner of MLS side Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City.
