Arsenal defender Kiwior open to Inter move

Start

Inter Milan’s quest to bolster their defensive lineup has received a significant boost as Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior has reportedly expressed interest in joining the Serie A champions. The Polish defender, who previously played in Italy with Spezia, has emerged as a top target for Inter’s backline reinforcement.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sportt, Simone Inzaghi, Inter’s manager, views Kiwior as an ideal fit for the team’s three-man defense system. The club’s interest in Kiwior has intensified, with the player now surpassing previous frontrunner Ricardo Rodriguez on their shortlist. Inter’s ownership had reservations about Rodriguez, further solidifying Kiwior’s position as the preferred choice.

While Arsenal has not yet entertained the idea of a loan deal for Kiwior, Inter remains optimistic that the situation could change as the transfer window progresses. The Italian giants are patiently waiting for an opportunity to open negotiations with the Premier League club.

Kiwior’s potential move to Inter would mark a return to Serie A, where he previously impressed with Spezia before his transfer to Arsenal. His familiarity with Italian football and his versatility in defence make him an attractive prospect for the Nerazzurri as they look to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
