Berardi is Milan’s primary target

Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi is Milan‘s primary target for the summer, according to a report from Tuttosport. The 27-year-old has spent the majority of his career with the Neroverdi and has attracted attention from Milan, Napoli, Inter and Liverpool in recent seasons.

Tuttosport report that that Milan director Paolo Maldini is looking to sign a new right sided winger for the club in June and Berardi is the main target.

The Italy international was close to agreeing a move to Fiorentina but couldn’t agree terms over his salary. After excelling at Sassuolo for 10 seasons, it’s thought Berardi is ready for a new step in his career

Tuttosport suggest that Sassuolo are asking somewhere in the region of €30-35m for their star player, but it remains to be seen how much Milan will offer.
