Bologna are planning for the upcoming season and looking at options to replace Joshua Zirkzee, including Hugo Duro from Valencia. The 25-year-old Spanish striker had an impressive 2023-24 season, scoring 13 goals (excluding penalties) and providing 4 assists.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports how Duro has shown his potential not only at Valencia but also during a brief stint with Real Madrid. In the 2020/21 season, he made three appearances for Los Blancos, including two La Liga matches against Real Valladolid and Real Sociedad, as well as a Champions League game against Atalanta.
This interest in Duro comes as Zirkzee is finalizing his move to Manchester United. The Dutch forward has already completed his medical examinations with the English club, with the transfer fee reported to be around €42 million.
