Bologna are working to bring a new offensive winger to Vincenzo Italiano’s squad. The Italian club have reportedly made an offer for Benjamín Domínguez, a 20-year-old left-sided attacking winger currently playing for Gimnasia La Plata in Argentina.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the negotiations between the two clubs are said to be at an advanced stage, with Bologna having submitted a formal bid for the player’s transfer. Domínguez, whose contract with Gimnasia is set to expire on December 31, 2025, has been catching the eye with his performances in Argentina.
In the current Superliga 2024 season, Domínguez has made 11 appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist. He has also impressed in the Copa de la Liga 2024, featuring in 14 matches and finding the net four times.
