Breaking: Juventus agree Bremer deal

Juventus have agreed terms with city-rivals Torino for the signing of Brazilian centre-back Gleison Bremer. Sky Sport Italia, Goal Italia, La Gazzetta dello Sport and a number of others are reporting that the Bianconeri have beaten opposition from Inter to sign the 25-year-old who will replace Matthijs De Ligt.

According to Romeo Agresti and Fabrizio Romano, the deal could cost around in the region of €47m, including various performance related bonuses.

The player is expected to earn €5m a season, plus a further €1m in bonuses, having agreed a four-year contract with the Old Lady.

The Brazilian international was voted Serie A defender of the year and was linked with Inter and a number of Premier League sides, including Tottenham Hotspur.
