Fiorentina 0-0 Napoli Player Ratings

Start

Fiorentina had the best of the early chances, but were held to a 0-0 draw against Napoli where the defences were the highlight of the match.

Fiorentina

Gollini: A quiet opening half and only one real chance that he had to deal with. 6.0/10

Dodo: Made a great headed clearance to deny Napoli and his runs down the flank were really smart. 6.0/10

Milenkovic: Some really poor passes out from the back put his team under unnecessary pressure, but overall his play was solid. 6.0/10

Martinez: Did a good job at covering for Milenkovic and keeping Osimhen quiet. 6.0/10

Biraghi: Some nice link-up play with Sottil down the left flank. 6.0/10

Bonaventura: Forced a good save from Meret at distance. 6.0/10

Amrabat: Hard-working and combative display in the centre of the pitch, often switching play out wide. 6.5/10

Barak: Had a great chance to put Fiorentina ahead and blazed his effort just wide of the far post. 5.5/10

Ikone: Quiet start with most of the attacks focusing on the left and didn’t see much of the ball. 5.5/10

Jovic: One half chance that he snatched at, but not much service to go on in general. 5.0/10

Sottil: Very positive early runs down the left and saw a lot of the ball, testing Meret from range. Continued to find himself in good positions in the second half, but all his efforts were straight at Meret. 6.5/10

Substitutions:

Kouame: Started a great counter-attack in the second half that was wasted. 5.0/10

Maleh:  5.0/10

Terzic: N/A

Saponara: N/A

Napoli

Meret: Tested by Sottil on a number of occasions, but all were routine takes. 6.5/10

Di Lorenzo: Had to deal with Sottil for much of the opening ’45 and was caught out on a number of occasions. Better in the second half, getting into the final third. 6.0/10

Rrahmani: Had a lot of work to do in the opening exchanges, half chance to score in the second half. 6.5/10

Min-Jae: A tough evening for the centre-back who dealt well with the early Fiorentina pressure and kept Jovic quiet. 6.5/10

Rui: A combative and hard-working display at both ends of the pitch. 6.0/10

Lobotka: Had a lot of work to do in the midfield battles as he went toe-to-toe with Amrabat. 6.0/10

Anguissa: Reckless start and a very early booking, but improved as the game went on and measured his game accordingly. Impressive. 6.5/10

Zielinski: Made an excellent break into the box and teed up Osimhen but his overall contribution was lacking. 5.5/10

Osimhen: Had a half chance early in the first half that should have been converted but found the service lacking for much of the match. 5.5/10

Kvaratskhelia: A quiet opening ’45 for the new signing, but he supplied a great cross at the start of the second half that should have been converted. 5.0/10

Lozano: Had some good chances to supply passes to Osmihen, but overhit quite a few of them. Should have done better with Kvaratskhelia’s cross. 5.0/10

Substitutions:

Elmas: Helped steady things to see out the game. 5.0/10

Raspadori: Had one half chance that he fired right at the keeper, but his second effort forced a great save from Gollini. 6.0/10
