Galatasaray want Daniele Rugani

JTurkish side Galatasaray want to sign Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, who also has an offer from Sampdoria. The 28-year-old has slid down the list of Juve’s starting centre-backs following the arrival of Gleison Bremer and Federico Gatti.

Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti reports that Galatasaray have made an initial offer for the Italian defender, but it’s considered too low by Juventus, and they are expected to return with an improved bid.

Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla writes that Sampdoria are also interested in the defender and are prepared to pay up to €1.5m of his salary and bonuses, but Juve are hoping Rugani accepts the Turkish offer.

The former Empoli man has spent six seasons with the Bianconeri, spending the entirety of his time in Turin as a backup to Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.
