Gazzetta: Giroud linked with MLS move

Start

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Milan striker Olivier Giroud could be tempted by a move to  MLS transfer in the summer. The Frenchman has a deal with the Rossoneri until June 2024, but has yet to begin contract renewal talks with the clubs management.

Gazzetta report that that Giroud is in no rush to renew his contract with Milan, and could yet play second fiddle to a new striker, given that the Rossoneri are keen to sign a new striker.

According to the report, the 37-year-old turned down offers from  Saudi Arabia last summer in order to remain in Milan, but he’s now giving serious consideration to the MLS, and could make a decision on his future by March/April.

The Frenchman has been with Milan since 2021, scoring 41 goals in 106 appearances across all competitions.
