Lazio are set to sign Granada goalkeeper Luís Maximiano for €10m with the deal all but complete and only medicals pending. The 23-year-old has only been with the La Liga side for one season having come through the Sporting youth setup.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the deal is agreed and the players has signed on a permanent deal worth around €10m.
Maximiano is expected to arrive in Rome tomorrow where he’ll attend his medical and sign a five-year contract, replacing goalkeepers Thomas Strakosha and Pepe Reina who are set to leave the club this summer.
