Leandro Paredes wants Juventus move

Reports from Italy suggest Juventus have revived their interest in Leandro Paredes and the player is keen on a transfer to Turin. The Argentine has recently renewed his contract with PSG until 2024 but believes his future lies elsewhere as he is no longer a part of the clubs project.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Bianconeri are keen on Paredes and would ‘entrust him with the direction of the new tactical project.’ The Bianconeri’s plan would be to include Moise Kean in the deal as the young striker is looking to leave Turin and wants to return to PSG where he enjoyed the most successful spell of his career to date.

Gazzetta suggest the deal would benefit both clubs economically as both players would be valued equally at €30m in a direct exchange move.

Paredes is reportedly waiting to speak with PSG to be informed about his future, following coach Mauricio Pochettino’s departure from the club. He enjoyed a successful period in Italy and is ready for a ‘new adventure’ while Juve’s proposal attracts him because he would play a more central, important role at the club.
