Manchester United meet with entourage of Kim Min-Jae

Start

Reports from France claim Manchester United have met with the entourage of Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae in recent weeks. The South Korean international has been linked with a host of clubs following the Partenopei’s Scudetto success, but none more so that United who are reportedly keen on bringing the centre-back to Old Trafford this summer.

Footmercato report that the Premier League club are ready to sign the 26-year-old in the upcoming transfer window and will make an offer of close to €60m to land the player.

The report outlines how United will propose  ‘colossal’ wages to the defender to try and convince him to join the Red Devils and have already held a meeting with Kim’s entourage in recent weeks. The suggestion is that the salary offer will be “worthy of a star striker” as  United look to reinforce their back line ahead of the next season.

Napoli signed the South Korean last summer for just €18m from Fenerbahce so the potential sale would represent a massive profit for the Neapolitans which may allow them to keep hold of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
