Milan clinch their 19th Serie A title

Milan have clinched their 19th Serie A title on the final day of the season, thanks to an emphatic 3-0 victory over Sassuolo. The result never looked in doubt as Rafael Leao set-up Olivier Giroud for the opener. The duo combined again for the second before Leao provided yet another assist for Franck Kessie to score the third goal.

The Rossoneri supporters were out in force at the Mapei stadium, invading the pitch at the full time whistle before the trophy presentation, and invading it again after the trophy lift.

It’s was the clubs first title since 2010-11 and it was won on the last day of the season as they finished 2 points ahead of city rivals Inter, who pushed them all the way.
