Italy captain Gianluigi Donnarumma may consider leaving PSG if the club fails to offer him a new contract, his agent Enzo Raiola has confirmed.
Donnarumma PSG Contract
The 26-year-old goalkeeper joined PSG on a free transfer from AC Milan in 2021 and has been the Ligue 1 side’s undisputed No. 1 since his arrival.
Donnarumma’s current contract runs through June 2026, but talks over an extension have been ongoing for several months.
“We’re in no rush; there’s a good relationship with the club,” Raiola told Tuttosport via TMW. “Gigio is happy in Paris, and his contract runs until 2026.”
Will Donnarumma Leave PSG?
While Raiola emphasized Donnarumma’s happiness in the French capital, he also left the door open for a potential exit if talks fail to progress.
“If we don’t reach an agreement, we’ll consider other options; nothing is off the table,” he said. “The project would be fundamental.”
Negotiations have been temporarily paused, with Raiola citing a desire not to distract from Donnarumma’s busy match schedule.
“We’ve postponed everything, maybe even just out of superstition, given the high number of matches.”
Could Inter Sign Donnarumma?
Reports in Italy have linked Donnarumma with a return to Serie A, particularly with Champions League finalists Inter Milan. However, Raiola was quick to shoot down suggestions of concrete talks with the Nerazzurri.
“It’s always nice to receive interest from big clubs. But to be clear, nothing has come directly from those involved,” he said.
Despite no formal approaches being made as of yet, speculation around Donnarumma’s future is likely to intensify—especially if PSG fails to agree fresh terms in the months ahead.

What’s Next for Donnarumma?
Talks between PSG and Donnarumma’s camp reportedly began last September, with both parties expressing a willingness to continue their relationship. However, with one year left on his contract, the next few months will be decisive.
Donnarumma remains a key figure for both PSG and the Italian national team, but the prospect of him running down his deal could encourage other clubs to test PSG’s resolve.
With a Champions League final against Inter looming, the timing of any major decision may hinge on how those high-stakes matches play out.
