Manuel Locatelli Injury Update

The news of Manuel Locatelli’s injury update will provide a much-needed boost to Juventus. Furthermore,  Sky Sport’s Gianluca Di Marzio also suggested that Douglas Luiz is primed to feature.

The Brazilian has endured a difficult maiden campaign at the Allianz Stadium. However, Luiz returned to full training on Tuesday and will be aiming for vital minutes to get back on track.

Teun Koopmeiners is another star who is now back in contention after his injury concerns. Locatelli’s inclusion will be the most significant amongst the Juve faithful as they aim to go all the way at the Club World Cup.

Where Is The Club World Cup Being Hosted?

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will be held in the USA. This year’s tournament has been expanded and will be played over the summer. The action gets underway on June 14 and the final will be determined on July 13.

In terms of participants, there are 32 teams across six different soccer confederations who will all feature. Alongside Juventus, Serie A and UCL runners-up Inter will also represent Italy.

The US will have three clubs participating. They are Inter Miami, Seattle Sounders and Los Angeles FC. Other notable participants include the likes of Barcelona, PSG, Man City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

There will be a total of 12 stadiums used for the tournament with the largest being the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Exactly $1billion will be distributed amongst the clubs with the winner securing a $125m prize fund.

Although Juventus may not be the favourites with the best offshore sportsbooks to win the 2025 CWC, their chances have certainly increased with Locatelli’s expected return.
