Ahead of the 2025-26 season, offshore sportsbooks favor Inter to finish higher than their arch rivals in the league. Both sides are rebuilding after replacing their head coaches this summer.
However, Il Diavolo will be gunning to get the better of their city nemesis. Under the guidance of Sergio Conceicao in 2024-25, AC beat Inter in the Supercoppa Italiana final and knocked them out of the Coppa Italia at the semi-final stage.

In terms of which Milan club is the most successful in Serie A, Inter once again comes out on top. The Nerazzurri have won 78 of the 204 clashes compared to AC’s 66.
Naturally, the 2025 UCL runners-up have scored more goals in the Milan Derby compared to their arch rivals. The ‘score’ is currently 300-270.
Last season, AC picked up four points against their rivals. A 2-1 ‘away’ win was secured in the first meeting on September 22, 2024 before the two heavyweights shared the points in a 1-1 draw in February.
When Are The Milan Derbies Being Contested In 2025-26?
Once the Serie A fixtures were released for the 2025-26 campaign, supporters of Inter and AC would have been quick to mark down the dates for the Derby della Madonnina.
This season, the first game will be contested on MD12 with Inter being the home team. The return fixture isn’t until MD28 which is firmly in the business end of the season.
