Club Friendly: Perth Glory Vs Milan Prediction, Betting Tips And Odds

Start

Ahead of Thursday’s friendly clash in Western Australia, FootItalia has the Perth Glory vs Milan odds, betting tips and match prediction.

The Rossoneri will be keen to carry on their fine work from the 4-2 thrashing against Liverpool in Hong Kong on Thursday. Rafael Leao, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Noah Okafor (2) were the scorers at the Kai Tak Sports Park.

Interestingly, this will be the first ever meeting between the Serie A giants and the Glory. The A-League side won just four of their 26 top-flight games last season and finished bottom of the table.

Perth Glory Vs Milan Team News And Predicted Lineups

Milan has no new injury doubts to contend with going into their historic encounter against Perth Glory on Thursday. Head coach Max Allegri is expected to name his strongest starting XI.

That means the likes of Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic, Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori and summer-signing Samuele Ricci should all start Down Under.

Pervis Estupinan and Noah Okafor will likely feature from the bench despite their strong performances against Liverpool last time out in Hong Kong.

Minutes are vital at this stage of pre-season. Expect head coach Max Allegri to make a number of changes throughout the game so as much of his roster can get a run out.

Two notable abseentees are Luka Modric and Santiago Gimenez. The duo have been given extra time off after their involvement at the Club World Cup and Gold Cup earlier this summer.

Meanwhile, Perth Glory comes into their first ever meeting against the Italian giants off the back of a disastrous season. The A-League side finished bottom of the pile but are unbeaten in their last three fixtures.

Striker Adam Taggart will be the main goal threat and he will be keen to impress against the Serie A side. Midfielder Mustafa Amini is another one to watch but may have to settle for a place on the bench.

Home advantage could also be key if Glory are to cause a minor upset. Supporters are known to be extremely vocal and passionate at HBF Park which may inspire young talents such as Giordano Colli and Jacob Dowse.

Perth Glory Predicted XI: Sail; Okamoto, Mrcela, Majekodunmi, Misao; Mileusnic, Freney, Amos, Ostler; Taggart, Pearman

Milan Predicted XI: Maignan; Tomori, Thiaw, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Ricci, Fofana, Pulisic, Bartesaghi; Loftus-Cheek, Leao

Perth Glory Vs Milan Prediction

It’s hard to envisage anything but a comfortable Milan win in their first-ever clash against Perth Glory. Especially after their blistering performance against Liverpool in Hong Kong.

And that is exactly what offshore sportsbooks favor ahead of the meeting at HBF Park. The Serie A side should have too much quality for their A-League opponents.

Rafael Leao and USMNT star Christian Pulisic were unplayable at times against the English champions last time out. And it looks like they will be too hot to handle again on Thursday.

Glory do have home advantage but ultimately, the gulf in class is too vast and we fully expect Max Allegri’s side to finish their tour with a comfortable victory.

Prediction: Perth Glory 0-4 Milan (90 minutes) +850

Perth Glory Vs Milan Betting Tips

  • Perth Glory vs Milan betting tip 1: Rafael Leao to score first at +500.

Rafael Leao is primed for a successful 2025-26 campaign and he has made a bright start in pre-season. The Milan star opened the scoring against Liverpool and we fancy him to do so on Thursday.

  • Perth Glory vs Milan betting tip 2: Over 3.5 goals at -143.

After their masterclass against Liverpool on Saturday, we expect the goals to flow once again for Milan. Max Allegri’s side will be too strong for their hosts and will show their ruthless streak in front of the target.
