Pierre Kalulu Permanent Transfer to Juventus Confirmed in €14.3M Move from Milan

Start

Juventus have officially signed Pierre Kalulu on a permanent transfer from AC Milan for €14.3 million.

Juventus sign Pierre Kalulu on a permanent deal

Kalulu, who spent the 2024–25 season on loan in Turin, has signed a new contract running until June 30, 2029.

The news was announced on June 5 — coinciding with Kalulu’s 25th birthday — marking a symbolic milestone for the player and the club alike.

“It’s a first birthday in Bianconero for Pierre Kalulu,” the club stated. “After a season on loan, Juventus have exercised the option to make his move permanent.”

Kalulu Transfer Fee and Contract

The Pierre Kalulu Juventus transfer cost the club €14.3 million, payable over three financial years. An additional €300,000 in ancillary fees and up to €3 million in bonuses are also included in the deal, contingent on performance-based objectives.

Kalulu made 39 appearances across all competitions during his loan spell, scoring once in a key away win against Atalanta. His consistent performances earned him his role in the Juventus defense under both Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor.

Can Kalulu Play in the Club World Cup?

Kalulu will now link back up with his Juventus teammates after international duty with France, just in time for the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. Juventus are set to face Al Ain, Wydad AC, and Manchester City in the group stage.

With Igor Tudor now leading the team and new General Manager Damien Comolli settling into his role, Juventus are eyeing a strong showing on the international stage.

Kalulu’s presence brings much-needed depth and versatility to a backline preparing for some high-intensity summer fixtures.

Milan’s first official sale of the summer

For Milan, Kalulu’s departure marks their first official sale of the summer window. The 25-year-old arrived from Lyon in 2020 and made 112 appearances for the Rossoneri, winning the 2021–22 Serie A title.

However, since the arrival of Strahinja Pavlovic, Kalulu found himself lower in the defensive hierarchy, prompting the loan—and now sale—to Juventus.

Milan will benefit from the cash injection as they reshape their squad for the upcoming season.
