AC Milan will begin their pre-season tour on July 23rd, as the Rossoneri enter a trio of clashes against Arsenal, Liverpool and Perth Glory.

Who Will AC Milan Play On 2025/26 Pre-Season Tour?

Massimiliano Allegri will take the reins at AC Milan for the second-time of his career, after replacing Sergio Conceicao as Rossoneri boss for the 2025/26 season.

Milan finished eighth in Serie A during the 2024/25 campaign, enduring a difficult season across all competitions and Allegri will be looking to bring European soccer back to the San Siro.

During his opening spell as Milan boss, the veteran manager won the Serie A title in 2010/11 and picked up the Supercoppa Italiana in the following campaign.

Allegri was relieved of his duties mid-way through the 2013/14 season after a run of poor performances and his most recent spell in Italy came with Juventus – winning five titles in Turin.

Now, he turns his attention to AC Milan and will get a better look at his squad as they prepare for a trio of pre-season games against Arsenal, Liverpool and Perth Glory.

The former Juventus manager spoke about his plans ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, as Milan are huge outsiders to win the league title on Serie A betting sites, and believes his men need to become a team quickly, which will be made evident on July 23rd against Arsenal.

He said: “We’ve started the new season, and I’m confident because I have a group with strong technical and moral values. We’ll be ready to play our first competitive match on August 17th. It’s important to work on the pitch. At the start, we’re a group, but we need to become a team quickly.”

Milan last faced Arsenal in the 2018 Europa League Ro16, as the Gunners clinched a 5-1 aggregate victory and took their overall competitive meetings to four Arsenal wins, two Milan wins and two draws.

As for Milan’s history with Liverpool, it’s hard to ignore the 2005 Champions League final which saw the Premier League side come from 3-0 down to win via penalties.

The Rossoneri would get their revenge two-years later, beating Liverpool 2-1 in the 2007 UCL final and since then, Liverpool have one the last three meetings between the two (2021-2024).

Will Luka Modric Play For Milan?

Milan made one of the most shocking signings of the summer during the opening weeks of July, signing Luka Modric as a free agent after the Croatian ended his 13-season spell with Real Madrid.

The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner will be a major addition to the seven-time Champions League winners, joining alongside another summer signing in Samuele Ricci.

Allegri spoke on Modric’s arrival, as the Italian coach claimed that the veteran midfielder will raise the level in Milan and help reach their goal of qualifying for the UCL.

Allegri said: “Modric will be important to us; he’s a champion and will raise the technical level. The goal is to return to playing in the Champions League, which isn’t easy because there are very well-equipped and competitive teams.”

Unfortunately for Milan fans, Modric will not travel with the squad to compete in their three pre-season matches, as the Croatian is still enjoying his time off following the FIFA Club World Cup.

The Rossoneri are also continuing their hunt for some fresh additions this summer, as Milan turn their attention to Rasmus Hojlund after failing to land Victor Bonfiace.
