Nicolo Zaniolo to remain at Roma for now

A lack of offers means that Nicolò Zaniolo could remain at Roma for the upcoming season and possibly renew his contract. The 23-year-old was tipped to leave the capital club this summer with Juventus the most likely suitors.

Il Mesaggero report that as of now, the Giallorossi are yet to receive an offer that matches their €50m valuation of the player. The Bianconeri have tried to include their Brazilian midfielder into negotiations for Zaniolo but Roma remain committed to only entertaining cash offers.

The suggestion is that Roma could keep the player and possibly extend his deal beyond 2024, when his existing deal ends.
